Arrrgghhhh You Ready To Race???

Last weekend was the 2013 Gasparilla Distance Classic. If you have never participated in one of these races, I highly recommend giving it a try, especially if you like cooler weather, a water view, and an occassional pirate spotting! There are multiple distance races, including a 15k, 5k, 8k and half marathon!

This year I participated in the Select 55 Challenge, which involved the 15k run on Saturday and an 8k on Sunday. Although I did not hit a PR on this one (1:25:10 half marathon; 45:13 8k) both were great races.
