Farewell New Orleans

As I said before, we literally tried to cram everything New Orleans in a fast 4 day trip.  Here are the last few shots from our New Years Eve getaway.  Warning....a lot of food was consumed!

 

Delicious beignets from Cafe Dumonde! This should be your first stop if you ever go!

 

One of the breathtaking exhibits at the World War II Museum. I could spend hours there, reading the accounts of the war. If you go, I was told the 4D movie narrated by Tom Hanks and directed by Speilberg is a must see.

 

Chapagne on the street for New Years.

A free Huey Lewis and the News concert for the Sugar Bowl. One of the best live performances I have seen to date!
