Supporting Hurricane Sandy Victims

As I mentioned last week, I love New York and the special times that I have spent there. With all of the hustle and bustle of the holidays, it is still hard to imagine that there are so many people in the area surrounding NYC that are still feeling the impact of Hurricane Sandy, especially homeowners and small businesses.

When thinking of giving this holiday season, consider helping out a cause that will help the victims of this storm, such as the community of Belle Harbor.  Or try purchasing a gift for a friend or loved one, where the proceeds can got towards this cause!

Etsy seller, handoverfist, is selling these adorable bandanas, with 90% of proceeds helping a small business owner who lost $70,000 worth of his equipment in the storm.  Wouldn't one of these bandanas look great framed on a wall???
