Don’t Fall For It!

Obviously with fall, there come the familiar tastes and smells that we wait all year for. Apple cider, apple fritters, pumpkin bread and of course, Starbuck's Pumpkin Spice Latte! Before you indulge in those autumn treats, be sure you earn them first!
  1. Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte (with 2% milk and whipped cream): Grande (16 oz) latte, 380 calories, 120 calories from fat, 9 WW points, 13 grams of fat, 220 mgs of sodium, 51 grams of carbohydrates.
    Try it with non-fat milk and no whipped: Grande (16 oz), 260 calories, 5 calories from fat, 0 grams fat, 210 mgs of sodium, 50 grams carbohydrates.


  1. Starbucks Caramel Apple Spice: Tall (12 oz), 210 calories, 0 calories from fat, 0 grams of fat, 53 grams carbohydrates, 15 mgs of sodium – this is not too bad, just make sure not to get whipped cream!





     
  2. Pumpkin Bread: Starbucks brand (1 slice) 390 calories, 14 g of fat, 61 grams of carbohydrates.
    Try Gluten Free Pumpkin Bread mix: 110 calories, 0 fat grams, 330 mgs of sodium, 27 grams of carbohydrates





     
  3. Apple Crisp: on average (1 cup) 396 calories, 76 calories from fat, 10 grams of fat, 46 grams of carbohydrates, 85 mgs of sodium
