My Inspiration

So at the beginning of my blog, I mentioned that I read my favorite blogs, daily, and instantly wanted to try it myself. Something must have been in the water a few months ago, as some of my close law school friends also started their own blogs. They were the eventual push to get on the web! I call them my inspiration:

Callie is certainly one of them! She started this blog when she barely ran, and turned herself into an ass-kicking momma, running half marathons and all sorts of races in our area! She has found happiness with her husband and soon to be 2 children, and in a career OUTSIDE of the world of law, which I am envious of! Last night I was catching up on my back log of fitness magazines and found Callie's face in the June 2012 edition of Fitness Magazine as one of the top fitness bloggers of the year! I am so proud of my fellow Stetson classmates!

Then there is my girl, Kerri Ann who left us for the north. Luckily I am able to catch up with her life on her blog, twentysomethingstella which has awesome recipes, DIYs, and stories of her life. I mean, how awesome do these peanut butter rice krispy treats look!

Lastly, there are my law school ladies, Jackie and Sarah, who started blogs about their lives. On Pardon Our Dust, Jackie, her boy, Tony, and their adorable mutt (aka Dirty Dog) have been deconstructing, and reconstructing, their new home. I am part envious, part feeling their pain as I try to re-do some of the things in our house! On Chez Glaser, Sarah and her new husband, Zach, share their new home, married life experiences, fashion, travel, and everything in between. Love!

We're all starting out on this blogging thing together and I hope that we continue to share great ideas and stories with each other for years to come! Congrats ladies! Keep up the good work.

  1. Thanks for the shout out, Caitlin! I love your blog and can't wait to make some of these oatmeal treats. I am not crazy enough to actually try the paleo diet, but I am curious to see if you like it. Keep us updated!

  2. I got downright giddy when I saw you reference my bloggy blog! I'm also enjoying reading yours and Jackie's blogs. :) It's fun, right? I feel like blogging helps me realize all the fun and interesting things I've got going on in my life, and it's a great way to document these times. Love your advice and your links. Keep it up! Xx
